1. How long have you been on Asianfanfics?
Three years in June.

2. How many stories have you written?
Total, or just what I have published? I just removed 30 of mine the other day. Total, I've written about 185 since I started working on fan fiction, by my best ballpark. I've published about half of that at one point or another.

3. What is the best fanfic that you've read?
That's a very good question, and one I don't have a good answer to. I've read a lot of stories that were very good in their own ways. While I may be biased, I actually think the best I've read are a series of oneshots my fiancee has that she won't publish. They're enchanting.

As for stuff I've read online, I've always found Platonic to be very oddly appealing. I'm not sure who the author is, and I've only seen it posted once or twice, but I have a copy on my hard drive. It's UKISS fan fiction for the ElVin pairing, and rather short.

4. What do you love seeing in stories?
An active attempt to maintain characterization. I'm a sucker for sappy, sweet, ooey-gooey romance when it's done right, and I have a serious hard-on for emotional tension. I like stories that make me really, really mad and then make me fall in love. There used to be more of those -- what happened to them?

5. What do you hate seeing in stories?
Original characters, mind-boggling pairings, a lack of effort, cross-overs and AUs are all on my pet peeves list. I strongly dislike wishy-washy plots, and any story that has a character being wildly out of character (I recently did a thing with a UKISS author who had quiet, generally mannerly Kiseop saying, "Fuck! Fucking fuck!") is a major turn-off. I like good, solid, believable stories. I'll never understand why people feel the deep need to try to make them "interesting." They already are. Stop trying, guys.

6. Name three things you love about Asianfanfics.
A. I love how easy it is to post stories. It's my favorite archive just because of that. Some other sites, I feel like I'm tearing my hair out.
B. The site makes it easy to interact with other authors.
C. Upvote system is nifty if borderline pointless.

7. Name three things you hate about Asianfanfics.
1. Upvote system is nifty if borderline pointless.
2. PM system is slightly bizarre.
3. I dislike the proportion of idiots to decent authors.

8. What is your favourite pairing to read?

JaeVin, 2Seop or ElSeop.

9. What is your favourite genre of story?

Romantic Drama... or porn.

10. How often do you go on Asianfanfics?

Multiple times a day, due to conversations I've got going with other authors.

11. Who is your best friend on AFF?

I... have no idea.

12. Who is your favourite Author?

Don't have one for fan fiction. Novels? Michael Crichton, Dean Koontz and Steve Alten are all tied.

13. Where do you come from?

This is a little ambiguous. Um. Born in Texas (I was there for less than a week), raised in France, consider myself French, have lived pretty much everywhere in Europe and the US (and Canada), currently in Rochester, NY.

14. If you could change anything on AFF what would it be?

The quality of the stories. Less delusionally, I'd change the way that the upvote system works and possibly combine it with the comment system (to make both required simultaneously).

15. What is your biggest AFF peeve?

You fics.

16. Which group do you mostly read about on AFF?

I'll give you one guess.

17. What is your favourite narritive to use in your stories?

I'm not sure what you mean by what my favorite narrative is.

18. What is your most disliked sort of story?

Fangirl fantasy AUs, like cruise ship fics or those weird stories where the self-insert OC is magically adopted by a K-pop band. Creepy as fuck.

OH MY GOSH YES the High School AU's are murder!!! >.< Over the past year and a half that I have been a reviewer, I can't even begin to count all the ones I've reviewed and just... gag me. T.T

The You authors are bad, but I know what's worse -- those authors who are old enough to know better, can write better, don't, and then throw a fit when someone points out that their stories are polluting the reading selection and could be easily improved.

I strongly wish there was a way to encourage good fan fiction habits. Just because it's fan fiction doesn't mean it has to suck.
